As of today, you can set any of your NFTs as your profile picture—known as PFP—on your Dapper profile. Be it your favorite NFL ALL DAY Moment, your cutest Flunk, or an NFT you plan to diamond hand forever—it’s time to show it off.
Social media platforms have long touted the benefits of a customized profile picture. Repping your NFTs as a PFP has also been a staple of the web3 space ever since the early days of NFT collecting. It’s a great way to establish a digital identity, support a specific cause, and be a part of a like-minded community. Thanks to NFTs, you can now show off your unique, verified, and truly owned digital asset as your own avatar—an authentic representation of who you are and what you stand for. It’s a truly meaningful statement.
As a profile pic, an NFT has an advantage over any other type of visual. Each NFT is a unique digital asset that cannot be replicated, changed, or destroyed. Plus, it comes with embedded ownership rights—the most meaningful and valuable aspect of an NFT. Collectors often exude immeasurable pride when talking about their prized possessions and there’s no better way to tap into that feeling than displaying your favorite NFT on your profile.
With Dapper, there is a huge range of NFTs to choose from. If you’re into art, you can go with pixel art like Ballerz, street art like Seeds of Happiness, or comic book sci-fi art like Analogs. There are also fandom driven limited-edition collectibles like NBA Top Shot, gaming collectibles like Dimension X, amazing knockout Moments from UFC Strike, commemorative trophies and rings from the NFL teams' NFTs, and hundreds more.
We are very excited to roll out this feature to our community members, who are now faced with the difficult choice of selecting the perfect NFT for their profile. Will you go with the first NFT you ever purchased, the most expensive, or the most meaningful? We’ll leave that up to you. To select your favorite, just follow these simple steps:
- Log in to Dapper
- Go to your Inventory and select the NFT you’d like to use
- Select "Use as avatar"
